In Ca Mau province, as of August 31, there were 147,794 people affected by the Covid-19 pandemic that needed support, of which 65,666 people had to ask for rice and necessities from the project area (Dat Mui commune and Tam Giang Dong commune- two extremely difficult communes of the province. People's lives become more difficult due to the travel ban, causing households’ farming and production to almost stop, the market didn’t operate, and farmers’ products couldn’t be sold, the seafood supply chain is blocked in these communes and Ca Mau province. Therefore, the objectives of the project could be at risk to achieve from the impacts of the COVID pandemic. SRD proposes to conduct the risk assessments and work out appropriate solutions to implement the activities of this project.
