On the occasion of "16 Days of Global Action on Asian Rural Women" and "Anniversary of the Vietnam Women's Union" on September 8th 2016, the Centre for Sustainable Rural Development (SRD) in cooperation with the Centre for Gender, Family and Environment in Development (CGFED) organized an agricultural products fair in Hai Hau district, Nam Dinh province. The event was aimed at introducing the models of safe agriculture production as well as sharing and promoting replication of the environment-friendly agricultural models in other non-projected locations. The event not only gained high appreciation from local authorities and departments but also attracted much attention from the mass organizations to the local residents.

On this occasion, SRD Program Officer was invited to share with the participants about the usage and benefits of using probiotics “Bio-get” in Agriculture such as materials for biological beddings in poultry farming, contributing to a clean and unpolluted environment, limiting flies, killing pests, accelerating poultry’s growth and limiting diseases related to intestine or respiratory system. Probiotics products did draw a great deal of attention from the local authorities as well as the local farmers.

I am so happy to hear about the product and introduced about instructions of the products to reduce the stink and save costs by SRD officers. I hope SRD and its staff would come back here again to directly provide the guidance for us."
By this such meaningful and informative event, SRD expects that those models which are safe agriculture production and having positive impact to the living environment; would be replicated and widespread to other non-projected provinces nationwide. That would be contributed to making positive changes for the local community’s life and bringing about sustainable development for future generations.
