2014 was marked with great strides by the Center for Sustainable Rural Development (SRD) in all fields of its expertise confirming its position as a leading Vietnam non-governmental organization with significant contributions to communities.
On top of launching 13 projects in 20014 related to Sustainable Agriculture; Climate Change; Forest Law Enforcement, Governance and Trade, SRD also undertook a wide range of activities in an aim to strengthen its organizational management and governance. These included, but were not limited to, updating manuals for increased transparency, accountability, and professionalism, improving the management structure by establishing the Board of Trustees and developing and implementing a succession plan. In terms of operation and management, these strategic moves not only enabled SRD to reinforce its organizational structure but also enabled its sustainable development in the future.
Heading to the 10th anniversary in 2016, SRD will continue to both grow in scale and improve in the quality of its activities
