 Overview of the ceremony

VNGO-CC network was established in 2008 with more than 100 NGOs in all provinces across the country active in the areas of adaptation, climate change mitigation and sustainable livelihood development. According to Mrs. Vu Thi Bich Hop, the project activities will have good impacts on poor and vulnerable communities, especially girls and women. Each organization working in a different area and community can coordinate with each other to increase efficiency, help raise the voice of women who are constantly facing the impacts of climate change and transmit those messages to the state management agencies and the international community. Those are the foundation for the response to climate change. Mrs. Hop also affirmed that VNGO - CC Network would support the project and connect stakeholders in the best way and expressed her wish to continue to accompany the Government of Vietnam in the implementation of the Nationally Determined Contributions (NDCs), National Action Plan for Climate Change Adaptation (NAP) and Integrating gender-equality into policies.
