The Centre for Sustainable Rural Development (SRD) has been nominated as one of the most outstanding affiliated science and technology organizations of the Vietnam Union of Science and Technology Associations (VUSTA) in mobilizing foreign aid and carrying out the projects aiming at the socio-economic development of the project implementing localities from 2013-2015.

"2015 Networking Event for Cooperation and Development" was organized by VUSTA on December 16th 2015 in Hanoi. This event aimed to summarize the operation results and recognize the contribution and outstanding achievements of affiliated science and technology organizations as well as international partners in mobilizing foreign aid and carrying out the projects aiming at the socio-economic development. Attending at the event were VUSTA's leaders, representatives of affiliated science and technology organizations and international non-governmental organizations in Vietnam.
SRD's Executive Director, Mrs. Vu Thi Bich Hop, was honored to receive this letter of recognition. Mrs. Hop shared: "VUSTA's recognition is an important encouragement for SRD's staff as we head towards our tenth anniversary. Over the past ten years, SRD has operated effectively and earned the trust of the government authorities, foreign donors and partners and people in localities."
At this event, SRD also had an exhibition of documents and publications of the project activities in the field such as: agriculture and sustainable livelihoods, climate change, FLEGT, etc.
