On June 3rd 2015, SRD participated in the“Achievements and Activities of Vietnamese Associations from 2010-2015” exhibition. The exhibition, which was a part of the 7th National Congress of the VUSTA from 2015-2020, was held at The Friendship Cultural Palace in Hanoi.
The exhibition aimed at showcasing the scientific and technological achievements in Vietnam from 2010 to 2015. As one of the organizations invited to participate, SRD was able to present the activities and projects implemented by the Centre over the last 10 years. With communications products and materials covering a variety of areas such as Sustainable Agriculture, Climate Change and Forest Law Enforcement, Governance and Trade (FLEGT), the SRD booth was able to draw the attention of many participants.
At the exhibition, Mrs. Nguyen Kim Ngan, the Deputy Director of SRD, said that “being a member of the Vietnam Union of Scientific and Technological Associations (VUSTA) and having received much support from the association, SRD is proud to be one of the non-governmental organizations (NGOs) that has greatly contributed to the development of science and technology in Vietnam over the years. In the future, SRD will persist in conducting their mission in community activities for the sustainable development of rural areas and livelihoods in Vietnam.”
