Mrs Hop was excited to inform that SRD is one of two Vietnamese NGOs under the Vietnam Union of Science and Technology Associations to recently receive a Certificate of Merit from the Prime Minister of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam. This is a very important recognition by the Government for the efforts of SRD and its outstanding contributions to the alleviation of poverty, community development and environmental protection.
At the end of the meeting, Ms Patricia introduced Manos Unidas’s strategic plan in Vietnam to focus on addressing inequality and raising awareness of inequality in Vietnam, rather than overall economic development. Additionally, Ms Patricia also hoped that although SRD has grown every year, it will still keep the family spirit.
