On June 17, 2022, Mr. Pierre SOETARD Representative of France Volunteer's region visited and worked at the office of the Center for Sustainable Rural Development (SRD), this is his first business trip to Vietnam after the border was opened and This is also his first business trip to Vietnam in his new position. Participate at the meeting included the full leadership of the Director, Deputy Director and 3 volunteers from Belgium, Italy and Spain.
This is the first official working session between SRD, FV, FOREST volunteers present in Vietnam and representatives of the EU delegation in Hanoi.
• Representatives of organizations meet officially and get acquainted; report through the operation status of each organization SRD, FV, EU about the FOREST project with EU Vietnam sponsored by EU Aid Volunteer.
• The volunteers introduced the project, the FOREST program they are undertaking in Vietnam and the plan to carry out the tasks in the coming period; first impression of the organization and reception of SRD; needs and expectations in the near future.
• The parties also presented the cooperation-oriented development strategies of the three organizations in the coming time, in addition to the FOREST project related to volunteers.
