Mr. Tran Van Loi joined SRD's program department as an intern in November 2010, and in April 2011 was promoted to a program assistant. In June 2013, Mr. Tran Van Loi was appointed to program officer in charge of climate change programs in the Ha Tinh Province.
Loi has a degree in Science of Environment from Vietnam Forestry University (2010). His professional experience includes:
• Research : Nearly three years of experience in researching climate change adaptation, value chains, and agricultural livelihoods.
• Project Management: Almost three years of experience designing, monitoring, implementing livelihood projects relating to agricultural value chains, disaster risk management, and climate change
• Training: Nearly 3 years of experience designing and implementing trainings on topics such as: management skills, promoting community groups, gender mainstreaming skills in project activities, assessing natural disaster vulnerability, adapting to climate change, and community based disaster risk management.
• Networking: Attended organizational support training and workshops in capacity building for civil society organizations on climate change.
