Huong joined the communications department on September 16th, 2013. She holds a bachelors degree in Television Journalism from the Academy of Communications and Journalism. She has extensive knowledge of the communications field, having worked as television reporter and editor for VTV 4 for 5 months. Her experiences also include teaching English and soft-skills for disadvantaged youth at REACH (a local NGO) for 7 months, as well as being a governance support officer for about 2 years at ActionAid International Vietnam where she was in charge of 2 youth-based long term projects and other advocacy and communications work at ActionAid. During her time at ActionAid International Vietnam, she also attended two Human Right Based Approach courses. She’s also attended various workshops on Policy for Migrant People and Youth Work in Development.
