Ms. Pham Thi Bich Ngoc has worked for SRD since February 2008, and is currently managing the climate change team, overseeing a broad range of projects related to Climate Change (CC) and Forest Law Enforcement, Governance and Trade (FLEGT). Ms Ngoc also active participate in the Network related to CC & FLEGT such as a Coordinator of VNGO&CC the network and a Technical support for the VNGO-FLEGT network.

After 9 year working for the Research and Training Center for Community Development (RTCCD) and Center for Support of Social Development Programs (CSDP), where she held key positions related to the development of projects and networks, Ms Ngoc has gathered extensive experience in the organization, implementation and management of development projects, in addition to acquiring important skills working directly with disadvantaged people in remote areas of Quang Tri province and Phu Tho province, and collaborating with a wide range of NGOs in Vietnam. All these experiences have strongly supported her to earn her the position of SRD’s CC manager.

Ms. Ngoc holds a BSc in Environmental Science from the Hanoi University of Science, National University, Vietnam (1998), and a Master of Science degree in Waste Management and Contaminated Site Treatment. She has also attended an International Training Program in collaboration between the Dresden Technical University, Germany and Hanoi University of Science, Vietnam (2007), as well as a range of training courses on human resource management, project management, environmental impact assessment, strategical environmental assessment, CC impact assessment, and FLEGT/VPA, in Vietnam, Thailand, Malaysia, Indonesia, Sri Lanka, Germany, among other countries.

Ms. Ngoc is currently studying her PhD in Sustainable Livelihoods and Responses to Climate Change, at the Centre for National Resources and Environment Studies, Vietnam National
