During the two weeks from July 6 to July 10 and from October 26 to November 1, SRD's representative participated in the training course on “Data understanding” in Ha Long and Hanoi, which was held by Center for People and Nature (PanNature) in collaboration with Open Development Initiative (ODI). The training course is a part of the project “Increasing the participation of non-public organizations in improving forest governance in the Mekong region - #V4MF” funded by the European Union (EU) with the cooperation in implementation between PanNature, RECOFTV and WWF in Vietnam.

     Participating in the training course, the trainees had a clear understanding of the concepts of Data, practicing the learned contents in group projects. At the same time, the program also introduces many new platforms and software for processing and illustrating data, which are open, free and updated increasingly, such as OpenRefine, Table, Data wrapper, Flourish and Piktochart.
