In Vietnam, coffee is an important product in the rural economy and is the second most exported product after rice. To examine coffee development in the correlation with land use change and forest and to available funding for smallholders as well as the barriers to access finance and potential solutions to bridge the financing gap and to propose solutions that contribute to sustainable coffee development, protecting forest, conserving biodiversity and habitat, and restoring landscape, SRD has conducted a Case study on Sustainable coffee development in in Thuan Chau district-Son La province.
