“I’m very proud and happy to be a part of SRD family. I feel the professionalism and commitment of every staff in SRD. Additionally, they are very open and supportive to achieve the common goal and maximize the operational efficiency of the organization. The organization also provides opportunities for its staff to learn and share to improve their capacity. I have a lot of opportunities to work, learn and develop. Although more and more obstacles are waiting for me and for the organization as well, I still believe that with the professionalism and commitment that I and others made, we will overcome everything and achieve the ultimate goals.”

Thang holds a Bachelors Degree in Veterinary Science from the Hanoi University of Agriculture, but considers his expertise community development. He has great experience in agriculture and rural development, livelihoods development, evaluation, monitoring and project management. Thang has also attended several workshops and trainings, especially on organizational capacity assessment. His previous employment includes Vietnam JSC Sales Department, a Governmental agency in agriculture and rural development of Yen Phong district, Dialogs project in France, Kooperativa Förbundet Sweden and Care International in Vietnam. Before joining SRD, Thang was a Livelihoods Development Project Assistant for more than 3 years at World Vision Vietnam, where he was promoted to Program Manager.
