The Centre for Sustainable Rural Development (SRD) is a Vietnamese non-government organization (VNGO) and committed to empower disadvantaged communities in rural and mountainous areas to adapt to the changing environment and sustainably manage their own livelihood systems in an equal and compassionate society.
Founded in 2006, SRD has conducted over 60 projects with the main focus on Sustainable Agriculture, Rural Livelihoods, Climate Change, Forest Governance and Pro-Poor Policy Advocacy. SRD has also been a founding member and chair of major local networks including VNGO&CC, VNGO-FLEGT, and an active member of many other local/regional networks and policy forums. We are currently looking for a qualified Vietnamese candidate to fill the position of Program Officer, based in Hue with frequent travels to the project sites. SRD offers good opportunities for working, learning and sharing within the dynamic team of SRD. This position will be responsible for managing and daily implementing the project supporting people living with disabilities titled “Together We Can” (VM075).

Background:
The project “Together We Can” (VM075) funded by Caritas Australia in Trieu Phong district, Quang Tri province through the Centre for Sustainable Rural Development (SRD). It is now in the second of the five-year duration. The target of the project is people with disabilities including adults and children regardless causes of disabilities, types, severity, sex, religion, etc. The project has covered so far 03 communes and will be expanded in two more commune from year 3 in Trieu Phong district, Quang Tri province.
Benefits and Allowances:
