On 7th February, 2018, Mr. Nguyen Phu Trong, The General Secretary of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of Vietnam had a meeting with the delegates from Departments, unions and 150 representatives of intellectuals & artists on the New Year of the Dog, 2018.
At the event, Mrs. Nguyen Kim Ngan, Director of the Center for Sustainable Rural Development (SRD), was one of the young leaders working in civil social organizations (CSOs) with notable and proactive contribution and interventions to the development of the country. Mrs. Ngan had the opportunity to meet and wish other participants the best for the Tet festival as well as listen to the speeches of the General Secretary, leaders of various departments and representatives of the Union of Science and Technology Associations (VUSTA) on the efforts of the Governor and the citizens on economic, social development and anti-corruption. Mr. Trong also emphasized the importance of talented people, intellectuals and artists on the national renewal process.
